New Student Tips

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of class!  
We want to take time to meet you and answer any questions 
you have before class starts.



Exercise Frequency
If you are new to exercising, attend 2-3 classes a week.  
To increase your fitness level, gradually increase your workouts          to 4-5 times per week.

Clothing
Wear clothing that is comfortable and allows for sweat evaporation.  
Coupons are available at your class for discounts on Jazzertogs clothing.

Shoes 
Aerobic shoes will absorb shock, support your feet and prevent injury.  
Also please do not wear street shoes on the wood                dance floor at class.
Carry in your workout shoes so they are dry and clean.


Exercise Mats
You'll be exercising specific muscle groups on the floor as part of the workout.  
An exercise mat with a non-skid surface is ideal.  

Weights 
Weights are optional.  Familiarize yourself with the basic exercises 
and techniques before using light (3-5lbs.) weights.

Drink and Food
Jazzercise requires non-breakable containers and lids.  
                Please keep drinks away from the exercise area.               No food or gum please.

Personal Belongings
Please do not leave purses, clothing, towels or other                             belongings where they will present a safety hazard.                              We are not responsible for personal property.
